Tammy Zonker
Tammy Zonker is a highly respected fundraising practitioner specializing in achieving sustainable funding for social profit organizations. Over the past eight years Tammy has coached, trained and consulted with hundreds of social profit organizations raising more than $130 million dollars from individual donors. Her work has transformed the idea of sustainable funding from impossible to inevitable for clients whose missions range from health and human services, higher education, disaster relief, mental illness, social justice, animal welfare to museums and performing arts. From 2003 to 2008 Tammy led hundreds of workshops in the United States and Canada as an Instructor and Senior Coach with Benevon (formerly Raising More Money). Prior to her social profit career, Tammy spent 17 years consulting with Fortune 500 companies and major universities with the computer consulting division of Xerox Corporation and the IBM Business Partner Network. She has served on a variety of social profit boards and committees where she became passionate about helping organizations fulfill their missions. She transitioned her corporate career to the social profit sector by completing the Fundraising Management Program at the Indiana University Center on Philanthropy in 1999. Presently Tammy is working as an outsourced fundraising practitioner and contributing writer to a number of national publications and websites. In addition, Tammy is an adjunct professor at Indiana University where she leads her "Fundraising Heart and Soul Series" beginning Fall '09 and is presently serving as Technical Editor on the third edition of "Fundraising for Dummies".
