If there is such a thing as reincarnation, I want to come back as a historic building restorer, a solar installer, a dance fiddler, a 19th-century Norwegian log cabin builder in Montana, a paint colorist, a spoiled Maine Coon cat, an adobera, an explorer of the "early" West, a historical archaeologist, an architect, and a forest ranger. How many lives will that take? I want to eat all the good things I'll never manage to consume in this life. I want to go back in time and see my little town as it looked before anyone built here.
