Since the death of my husband four years ago, my children and me have found ourselves just struggling to survive. Pushed into poverty while so many who could have stopped this simply stood silent. Broke and now facing eviction the future is uncertain. We refused to be intimidated and fought back when those we trusted the most stooped to an unimaginable new low. Painted to be crazed, greedy and unstable, we fought back with the truth. When my husband was attacked, we fought back with the law and won. We chose not to be victims and each day we survive is a stab at those who are responsible. Not held back by any non disclosure, my children and I will continue to speak the truth and the consequences to those responsible are their making.
