I am an American-born South African who resides in Johannesburg, South Africa. I have been living in South Africa for 12 years. I have a Film and Media degree from UCT and I also minored in scriptwriting. When I started my degree, I thought I'd become a filmmaker extraordinaire but somewhere along the lines, I landed up in the television idustry. It has been a great experience, none-the-less, as I have acquired some invaluable skills. I am currently an insert and entertainment producer for a breakfast show on a national television channel in South Africa). Some of the skills I gained through my experiences in television are researching, interviewing, voiceovers, scriptwriting for live television, scripting for pre-recorded features, production management, post-production management, floor managing (for a live show), and social media management. I also freelance as an online content writer for the JHB Live website, which is a city guide for people living in or visiting Johannesburg, South Africa.
