Tasha is a Northerner living down south, getting by using her wits and the dulcet tones of her Yorkshire accent. Her first foray into the world of journalism came when she decided to join a book club at her local library at the tender age of eight years old. As a fan of the written word she began not only to read but to produce articles and reviews for the library newsletter. Between 2007 and 2008 she found herself volunteering for Sandman Magazine, a northern independent music magazine, based in Leeds. This was a chance to work within a field she feels passionately about, music. Here she would research venues and musicians, arrange interviews and review gigs, demos and releases. In 2011, Tasha graduated from Southampton Solent University with a BA (hons) Journalism degree. During her studies her speciality was Broadcast Journalism and Photojournalism. Currently, Tasha is the Editorial Assistant at PRmoment.com; a site which offers insight and opinion to PR professionals.
