Tamaria NYS

I am a scholar and a channel. I have been such since 1987. I have an earned PhD and teach freshman and sophomore level courses at my community college where I have been since 1999. Suffolk County Community College has made it possible, over my 21 year tenure, to finish my first book, Public Indians, Private Cherokees: Tourism and Tradition on Tribal Grounds. SCCC has also made it possible for me to continue as an active field anthropologist in Glastonbury, Somerset, England. The work I am now involved in is about the pull of Glastonbury/Avalon to thousands of women and also men to go on Pilgrimage to the Goddess in England's Green and Pleasant Land.
