I'm an energetic young professional who on August 11, 2011 was diagnosed with an autoimmune disease, Guillain Barre Syndrome. As a result of my diagnosis, my entire life has changed--- for the better. I'm the second oldest of 7 children, and live in suburban Philadelphia. I decided to write this blog as a way to show others who have been diagnosed with GBS to know that there is hope. And, there can be laughter every step of the way.
