Born and raised amidst the picturesque landscapes of Grande Prairie I have been blessed with an extraordinary journey. Today, I call the charming city of Wetaskiwin, Alberta, Canada, my home, where my heart finds solace in the company of family. As a proud mother of three grown children and a doting "Nana" to my beloved grandkids, each moment spent with my loved ones is cherished beyond measure. For many years, my life intertwined with the exhilarating Chuckwagon Trail, where I accompanied my then husband, Rick, during the thrilling summer months. Immersed in the world of the World Professional Chuckwagon Association (WPCA), I felt compelled to document my extraordinary experiences in this blog that would soon captivate readers from around the globe. In 2011, my journey took a creative turn as I ventured into the realm of amateur photography, capturing the essence of camp life, the adrenaline of race days, and the beauty of day-to-day living. My email blog, brimming with captivating stories and stunning images, quickly became a sensation, reaching people in far-flung corners of the world, from Switzerland and Germany to the USA, China, Australia, and my beloved Canada. As they say, all good things come to an end. In 2018, the curtain fell on the Chuckwagon Life, but my passion for storytelling endured. In 2021, I embraced a new chapter in life, continuing to share my unique perspective and heartfelt tales renaming my blog, "Thoughts From the Voice Within." I extend a heartfelt invitation to you to embark on a visual journey through my lens and from the ink in my hand. Allow my captivating photographs and heartfelt stories to take you on a ride filled with emotions, cherished memories, and the timeless beauty of life's precious moments. So, grab a cup of coffee, find your cozy spot, and immerse yourself in my vivid rendition of life's most cherished tales from “Thoughts From the Voice Within.” and also enjoying special photos from my Sue Fraser Photography collection, where every click is a celebration of my inner storyteller.
