Benedict Sheehan

Benedict Sheehan is the Choir Director and Music Instructor at St. Tikhon’s Orthodox Monastery and Theological Seminary. Beginning his life in liturgical music as a choir director at age fourteen, he went on to receive a Bachelor of Music in Theory and Composition from Westminster Choir College in Princeton, N.J., and a Master of Divinity from St. Tikhon’s Seminary. He has worked to build thriving music programs at a number of parishes in the OCA and has also worked extensively with Orthodox mission choirs. He and his wife and five daughters live in South Canaan, PA.
