I remember being fascinated by my mom's sewing room from the time I could walk. She taught me to sew, and to cook, and to garden, and I miss her. My husband is patient with my creative side, and my children are tolerant...and rather thankful they are grown and out of the house so they don't have too much "creativity" to put up with when I find delightful new recipes!
