Born banjoless in Southern Alabama, I grew up in my mother's hometown of Tallahassee: Florida with a Southern Accent. I now live in the Atlanta northern suburb of Roswell. Two kids, second husband, two stepkids, two dogs, one cat later, I'm in that middle part of life that deconstructs and rebuilds before one's eyes. Professionally, Stefanie Dye is a Mortgage Consultant with Good Friend Mortgage in Alpharetta, Georgia. As a nationally licensed Mortgage Loan Originator, I work with borrowers to help find the best loan to fit their situation with conventional, FHA, VA, and RHS loans using fixed, adjustable or reverse mortgage products. I come from a career in Economic Development and Community Planning. I was until June 2014 the Redevelopment Manager for the City of Roswell, Georgia. Before that, I have worked for the good people of Georgia at the Department of Community Affairs since coming to Atlanta in 1996. I've worked in Economic Development Finance, Quality Growth, and Research. She moved to Georgia from her home state of Florida where she worked for the Florida Legislature. I'm also a Certified Economic Developer, with a BS in Political Science from Florida State University, and an MPA from Florida International University. I love nature, waterfalls, the ocean, books, live music, and deep conversations with friends. Above all I love my family: husband Mark Schurmann, daughter Bailey Moran, son Dylan Moran, and step-kids Ben and Meg Schurmann.
