I've lived in Minsk, traveled in Russia and Belarus by myself with interpreter, and I was once a wimp. I am passionate about the anonymous among us, nobility seen from a sideways view; my writing voice is one of buoyant pathos, and write like you paint. I jump out of airplanes to visit pug dogs on the ground, and some days I have the personality of an untamed Dalmation, which means I am passionate about people, dogs, ideas, racial justice, my husband, my friends, books, books, books.
