Lotus Flower

Life's a classroom, and I'm a perpetual student. A brilliant artist encouraged me many years ago to "Continue creating courageously"; I've been walking the high wire of a creative existence without a safety net ever since. I have no idea how people who don't write, sing, or otherwise create cope with life. 60 years from now I'd like to be like the two old guys in "Secondhand Lions", entertaining the grandkids with a lifetime of stranger-than-fiction stories--- all of them true.
