Sly on the Wall

Sly by name, Style(ish) by nature... Okay so, first things first...I consider myself to be a story teller, style-lover, fashion finder, sort of writer, poetry lover, hill dweller, cold weather hater, accumulator, mother of one, non-stop thinker, and a terrible baker! I'm a second-generation Chinese-New Zealander with a background in theatre and the arts. I trained at New Zealand's leading drama school as an actor and somehow ended up in broadcasting! I make radio documentaries on a range of subject matter, present on-air, and report on the arts in New Zealand. And I LOVE MY JOB! What I would love more though is having the opportunity to produce more fashion and lifestyle stories (which I always try and slip in where ever I can!). Trust me--I'm obsessed! BUT now that I've finally gotten around to starting my blog, (after years of starting and stopping, deliberating and generally getting caught up in the throws of life...and now with a 7-month old baby, crazy I know!)... Well, it just seems the right time to do it, or at least kick-start it before my life gets crazier and I head back to work in March 2014. So here I am, writing, shooting my favourite outfits (when I can), showing you my style picks, inspiration, and most importantly I will be digging around in other people's wardrobes in my special 'interview' section called "Behind Closed Doors," plus there will be feature stories too, on up-and-coming designers, artists and more!!!
