Hi, I’m Simone Meyer and I live in Potomac, Maryland. I’ve always been an admirer of beautiful homes and because of that I took some courses at the Corcoran school of Design several years ago. In April 2012 I decided to channel my love for home design into a blog, and so Simone Design Blog was created. Through it I share with others my passion and knowledge of interior design. My husband has said that he’s never seen me more passionate about anything! I love to people why certain room designs look so appealing and how they can use these design styles in their own home. When writing a post, I dedicate hours making sure that I get my facts correct and that my images give an accurate portrayal of the concepts I describe. It’s important to me that my posts are written to be informative and not too technical. Since its inception, Simone Design Blog has developed a large following, so it is now evolving from a hobby into a business. Besides blogging, I love traveling, cooking, gardening, and working out in the gym.
