Hi everyone! I'm a full time mommy, wife and avid dog lover! I'm also a part time student determined to finish my degree! The reason I started a blog is because I've chosen to exclusively breastfeed my now 10 week old son; along the way, I've learned A LOT about the dedication, motivation, and struggles that come along with it! It is truly a beautiful and wonderful experience and I want to share that with other mommies (dads too!), help others when I can, and share my favorite recipes and diet tips for a dairy and soy free momma! Whether or not you breastfeed your baby, being a parent is a full time job that is extremely demanding but WAY more rewarding! I believe in having a support system (friends, family, etc.), and since I have become a mother, I have a strong desire to help other parents and share all of our joyful (and rough) moments of this amazing experience! Shortly after my son and I got the hang of breastfeeding (it's a TEAM effort!), we realized that any dairy or soy in my diet really upset his tummy. I've made the difficult switch to a "free" lifestyle and although it has been hard, I would do anything for my baby :) I have been learning and creating many recipes that are not only soy & dairy free, but healthy and delicious! Being a healthy mother is the first step to giving your babies the best care they deserve!
