Dreamer... visionary... human rights activist, social entrepreneur. For over 30 years I have been leading an organization called "Beit Issie Shapiro" which is working to improve the lives and opportunities of people with disabilities and other special needs, in Israel. I am a wife, mother and grandmother and as well as having my own large family, am surrounded by an extended family of friends, colleagues and people who share my concern and vision. For thirty years, the view from my window has moved me and inspired me to action. In this blog I will share the impressions, concerns and joys of my life of service, in the hope that some of my experiences and insights may inspire and encourage and inform your own efforts to improve our world.
