Kim

Hello! I’m Kim. It would have been much grander to have been given a unique name... a Swedish name perhaps? But no one asked me. So, Kim it is. :) I’m pleased to make your acquaintance and I’m so glad you wandered into my little world. I’ll tell you a bit about myself so you can decide if you want to stick around. I’m a single mother who longs to know and enjoy God more every day in this crazy, fun, yet often difficult life. I am on a journey to simplify my life while learning how to rest and make time for the things that matter most. I take great delight in laughing with my kids, sipping caramel lattes, making friends in old books, building furniture with a dear carpenter friend, devouring authentic New Mexican food, and dreaming about my next trip to Europe (even though I don't know when or if it will actually happen.) I enjoy writing about things my Father in heaven is teaching me in hopes that I can encourage others along the way. :)
