As a child I always made up stories, writing them down from time to time. In my late teens I convinced myself that "Grown-Ups" didn't do that, so I shut off the creative side to concentrate on the real world. Having come to the conclusion that this was pretty stupid, I have finally allowed my mind to wander once more and found myself working on an old idea that is now rapidly becoming the first novel in a series - possibly of three, maybe four novels, depending on where the story takes me.
