Rawlinson is a Principal Architect in the Office of the CTO of the Storage and Availability Business Unit at VMware. Primary responsibilities are focused on cloud and Hyper-converged enterprise architectures. Rawlinson focuses on software-defined storage solutions such as Virtual SAN, vSphere Virtual Volumes, and other storage-related products as well as new cloud management frameworks initiatives such OpenStack, and Cloud-Native Applications . Rawlinson is also amongst the few VMware Certified Design Experts (VCDX#86) and author of multiple books based on VMware and other technologies.
