Roger Yale
Roger Yale is a freelance writer in Myrtle Beach, South Carolina. For more than two decades, Roger has focused on stories about the people who make the Grand Strand awesome. He is currently a contributor to The Post and Courier Myrtle Beach and Grand Strand Magazine. A longtime contributor to McClatchy Newspapers’ The Sun News in Myrtle Beach, he was voted Story of the Year winner four times by readers of The Sun News’ sister publication, Weekly Surge – in which he also had a biweekly feature about locals called “Working 4 A Living.” He was editor of "The History of Los Angeles Graffiti Art Volume 1, 1983-1988." He also served as editor on the Amazon Bestseller, "BOOM: One Word to Instantly Inspire Action, Deliver Rewards, and Positively Affect Your Life" by Jeff Yalden. Roger is also a working musician and one half of the duo The Yale Brothers – identical twins who cut their teeth on rock ‘n’ roll while growing up in Hollywood and regularly played the Sunset Strip with their band, Rogue Alley. He and his brother host The Yale Brothers Podcast, available on Apple Podcasts, Libsyn and other outlets. He has been a Myrtle Beach resident since 2005.
