I am a midaged woman who works full time as an Assistant Principal in a Special Education Preschool. Before, after and sometimes during those hours I pursue my passion for writing. I have two grown sons and am married to a womderful man who does a lot around the house, giving me time to write and do art. Besides writing, I love to read women's and literary fiction, cook, garden and make mixed media art. Art journaling is a fun hobby, but still writing and publication are my greatest goals. I am committed to making the earth a better place for future generations. We can learn a lot about the simple days of the past, which is why I created this blog. Some day I will collect these stories in a book to give to my children and grandchildren. And with luck and persistence, hopefully the book will grace the shelves of bookstores, libraries, and homes.
