Retired from full time church ministry, Ricki Aiello is a New England writer who pens personal essays, shorts stories, and is working on a novel. Ricki frequently writes about her dachshund, Grace, her family, and the art of finding humor in aging. A lifelong Connecticut resident with work-related sojourns in Kittery, Maine, East Longmeadow, Massachusetts and the Town of Chatham on Cape Cod, she holds a doctorate in theology and church ministry from Andover Newton Theological School. Ricki enjoys living near her family, cheering her grandsons as they play soccer, and the joys and frustrations of being a first-time homeowner. She's currently working on essays about stinkbugs and house chores. Her novel tells the story of a judgmental protagonist named Kate who is a thinly veiled self-portrait of the author though, she isn’t admitting it. This is her first published work, but she has high hopes.
