My name is Barbara Robbins and I'm the wife of Mitch, a Christian video producer and film maker, the mother of Amy, who is a freelance artist, and of two children who now reside in heaven, David and Teresa. We live in a small town in East Texas, close to the Louisiana border. I was in a tragic accident in 1975, that took the life of our first-born daughter, Teresa, and left me with a badly broken body. I am currently (September 2024) writing a memoir of that time in my life. The injuries and chronic illnesses I acquired as a result caused me to start focusing my writing on helping others who suffer with chronic illnesses and other physical limitations. I serve on the leadership team of God-Living Girls with Chronic Illness, a facebook group whose purpose is to encourage ladies who live with the challenges of chronic illness.
