I am an education researcher, mother, and community volunteer. I have a background in law and policy. My purpose for writing this blog is to raise awareness of education reform issues impacting the State of Colorado. I am particularly disturbed by the heavy-handed and unapologetic corporate takeover of education, the privatization movement which is intended to destroy public education, the common core standards which will standardize education and set all our children back, and the greed, corruption and cronyism that is rampant in our state.
