Rahim Jindani grew up in Karachi, Pakistan. After having his early education from Aga Khan Higher Secondary School, he went to Textile Institute of Pakistan to earn his bachelors degree in Textile Science and Chemistry. Later used his skills in development of Denim products for GAP for a year and then joined North Carolina State University to earn his masters in Textile Technology. Current interest areas include innovative health care materials and education. Currently working in Medical Textiles Research group at College of Textiles along with Dr. Martin King and teach Introduction to fibers lab TMS-211 and TT-331. Teaching career has helped in learning and developing skills beyond as I develop them. Rahim is currently researching on donor site wound dressings along with University of North Carolina, Jaycee Burns Center and plans on to providing better alternatives to current dressings available in market.
