I grew up in Camberwell as a child and went to school there from the time I left when I was 16. Football and films have been integral to my life but it has not been the only thing that has shaped who I am today. I turned around my life in 2006 after being released from prison at the age of 27, because before that I was involved in a criminal lifestyle. The plan after coming out was to go university and open up a media production company that could offer opportunities to anyone who may be finding it hard to access their creative skills or work into the domain of the media market. Today I can acknowledge that I am an Ambassador of Peace, a youth achiever and the company director of Roadworks Media. I have spoken extensively at the House of Parliament where I received The Youth Achievement Award about my goals and what I have been through to get the support the company needs in order to survive.
