I live in beautiful San Miguel de Allende, Mexico. I came here in the Spring of 2013, after a professional life in the USA which encompassed a range of professions from appraising fine art and antiques, the wine trade, and human resources management. I was born in Louisiana, and grew up in Houston TX. After gaining my BA from Southwest Texas State University I subsequently lived in New York city, Australia, Northern California and the Washington DC area. Art (the appreciation and making of) and travel / writing have always been important aspects of my life. Now that I no longer have to work in the salt mines for my living I can indulge in these very rewarding interests.
