Phil Pettipiece

Hockessin, DE

Born in March 1985, this inciter and injustice-battling, talkative firecracker was born to a brilliant, yet traditional/tough British father and an absolutely incredible Irish mother in beautiful Riverside, California. 3 years later my long selfish life of only thinking about myself came crashing down when my adorable, little red haired sister was born. I was forever changed. From that moment on I knew that I had a permanent sidekick, and that was awesome. In return, I vowed to take care of her, protect her, and do everything in my power to prevent her from harm and failure. Turns out my power is quite limited but that never stopped me from trying. Fast forward 26 years and I'm still trying except now instead of her, it's everyone and my scope is much larger than our room. I was cute from birth and have just grown more devilishly handsome and charming over the years. From age 2, I pointed out to random strangers the dangers of smoking and other interesting facts I had learned. It became my MO; Mom, my uncles, or the nuns at school taught me something and I relayed it to others, usually simpler and more succinctly. I'm terribly neurotic and compulsive, I overthink EVERYTHING. I get overly passionate and involved in things that don't affect me but it comes from a genuine place of goodness... I think... I'm pretty sure. I stay up extremely late and wake up pretty early. This leads to sleeplessness and zombielike Phil in the morning and I'm told a shorter existence. That's fine because I get a shitload of writing, relaxing and thinking done between the hours of 10pm and 3am. I'm reading, debating, learning, watching, and chilling. I'll keep this blog as responsible, honest, and well researched as I can. If I write it, I believe it and that's a promise. I'm counting on each of you to hold me to that. Keep me accountable. I'm very open to improvement and encourage comments but I'm not perfect and neither are you or all of your suggestions. However, that being said, please enjoy your time here and feel free to be real but also courteous, polite, and respectful. I understand how heated people can get when discussing topics so apologize and edit when necessary should you say something that comes off wrong but don't be an oversensitive prick who misinterprets almost to a purposeful extent ;-)
