A woman in midstream. As I look both back and forward, I want to make sense of my strong feminist beliefs and how they have helped, hindered, but always remained at the core of my being. I can't get rid of them; I couldn't if I tried. And I have tried. They are so integral to my being that to live without them would be like trying to live without a part of myself.
