I always thought of myself as being more or less a liberal. I was raised in a staunchly Democratic household and came to believe that conservatives were the "bad" guys and "liberals" were the good guys. Then, I read James G. Watt's "The Courage of the Consevative" and discovered, much to my surprise, that I was actually a conservative in liberal clothing.
