Jan Darling

I write short stories and poetry and am published by The Society of Classical Poets and Australian Children's Poetry on their websites. I have published one novel which is due soon to be reprinted by WordWhisperer. Over the years I have sold stories to magazines and radio stations. I started working life as a radio copywriter and in the past many years have been involved in writing and marketing in New Zealand, London, Barcelona, New York and Australia. I hold Trinity College of Music, London, Associate and Licentiate Diplomas for the teaching of Speech and Drama. My favourite poetic subjects are nature and animals. I enjoy writing nonsense poetry. Although I don't have an independently mobile broomstick, I do have a cat familiar. We, the cat and I, live with my husband in quiet places.
