Now I have retired - enough is enough. Thirty-five years at the TEFL chalkface, hammering away. And despite planning to go to Crete, after a short stay, I returned to Egypt. I have renamed my blog, Expat in Egypt: an affordable place in sun. The connection? Three years ago, 2013, I trained teachers in a large primary school in Alexandria Egypt. It was interesting but not always pleasant to witness the aftermath of the revolution.
