I'm a philosopher by training, working class by birth, and underemployed, when I'm working, by default if not quite by choice. I'm an atheist, a reader, a cook, and a non-gaming software geek. I sew and quilt and do needlepoint, but I don't knit or bead. I'm a feminist who doesn't like very many women. In short, I'm long on despair, short on hope. I believe misanthropy and misery are an appropriate response to the world as it is, not a personal failing to be cured or cheered up.
