MEDIA 230 - Media Ethics Course: MA Journalism Favorite book/ novel: A Sense of Place.This book has opened my eyes and heart into travel journalism. Shapiro was able to take me beyond the pages of his book to places where fellow travel writers like him had been.Being adventurous and imaginative,this book really satisfied my quench for travel writing tips and explorations in the future. Fav film of all time:Heneral Luna because the movie made me see Philippine history in a different perspective and it ignited a deeper sense of nationalism within me. To be proud to speak in my native tongue, Media practitioner: Kara David.Thru immersion technique and thorough researching she does with her documentary programs, I feel she gives the public what the public has the right to know.A watchdog of society and very versatile as a host. Also Anthony Bourdein for his different attack in a Travel Shows. His immersion technique gave travel shows a different face. Fave song/ singer/ band: The Warrior is a Child/ Whitney Houston/ Sitti / Side A because as a former DJ and Station Manager, I love music and these singers and their songs really make me feel high and relaxed. Fave meal: Japanese food because of its presentation and taste and chocolates,fruits and salads on the side being a sweet-tooth person .
