I’m a 60 something (how did that happen?) ‘girl’ with lots of interests, independent travel being one. I’ve been lucky enough to have backpacked solo on two big trips already and this could well be the longest. There are no pockets in shrouds and you’re a long time dead, or rather, life is short! As a good friend often says, “Never say never” so I thought I wouldn’t!
