History, Art and Memory. Three things I love and three things I want to explore in the world of museums. Ive been a museum professional for 9 years now and I still feel like I'm learning something new. I've worked in history museums, historic houses and now a natural history museum. At the same time I am transition from emerging professional to mid career, a new (and scary) adventure for me. Over just the last 9 years I've seen the conversations in the field move from museums as education spaces, to community spaces, to advocacy and social justice spaces.  Responsiveness, relevancy, innovation and adaptability.  I hope to reflect more on museums and where they (and I) are going.
