I head a website "FORCE" For Our Rights in Children'sEducation. I have been a parent in education for over 30 years have worked as an OFSTED Lay Inspector in all types of schools and have also been an active member of PTA's since the 1980's During the last teachers pay dispute 21 years ago I founded a parents association to bring parents and teachers together. Since that time I have been part of the National Confederation of Parent Teachers Association through this I have spoken to hundreds of parents and teachers frequently broadcast on local and national radio and appeared on most TV news broadcasts. This has given me an incredible insight into parents views and opinions and shown me the benefit of parents working closely with their child's school. I am possibly not the best friend of any MP having worked with every Secretary of State since Sir Keith Joseph I speak for parents and on behalf of our children and am prepared to champion any initiative which will benefit children but will not sit back and see childhood taken away from our sons and daughters, see children so stressed by education at 7 they cannot enjoy learning.
