Travels with Howie: I'm retired from Education. Retirement comes after teaching and related occupations from 1968 to 2018, 50 years. My friend Howie (see profile photo) returned with me to the South in 2018. I'm now continuing with research related to my original teaching roots in the Alabama Black Belt Region. My goals are to research and write about topics related to social and environmental justice. I'm now working on missing history related to America's racial divide, born of slavery. I'm working in the Black Belt region of Alabama at the Freedom Farm Civil Rights Museum.
