Novice Novel writer, Teacher for 24 years teaching both special education and earth and space science. Before that Nursing and Phlebotomy, Majored as an undergraduate in Theatre/Speech and Minored in Psychology. Worked as a floral designer, Art restoration and presentation, and earned a Brown belt in Aikido. Had to stop Martial arts after being in a train accident. My second oldest son is a second degree black belt and third and forth son both accomplished in Parkour. Involved in many theater productions, acting and directing, both public and private I opened and ran a school of Children's Creative Arts, which I developed and continued for two years in my home town. Grew up as a gentile in an all Jewish community, so not only went to Hebrew school, but also when to church. Spent summers working on family farms in late 50's early 60's in Wisconsin and vacationed in the far North near Canada, with my family every summer after the harvest before school began at our apartment home. I have acquired 90+ hours graduate credit past my bachelors degree in fine arts, but never could get past the class on evaluation of original primary research. Intellectually, guess I am a grasshopper. Home life was abusive in every way possible, so I escaped into my imaginary world of writing and playacting. Wrote my first play in 2nd grade and first poem at 5 years old. So rich a heritage, so much I can write. A writer I will become, published, who knows. Though I do care! Favorite author: Jim Butcher - wish I had his flair for sarcastic humor and dialog. Most admired authors: JRR Tolkien, C.S. Lewis, Robert Jordan, and hesitantly add George RR Martin, for I hate how ruthless he is in killing off character's I've grown to love. But I admire his ruthless courage.
