I was born and grew up in Wisconsin. I received by BA (Physics) from Ripon College, and my PhD (Nuclear Physics) from Rutgers University. I met my beautiful wife of 21 years in college, and we have lived in Wisconsin, New Jersey, Northern California, Tennessee, Wisconsin, and Minnesota. We have three children. I currently work as a Software Engineer, building products for anatomic pathology labs.
