I am a PhD student in Environmental Sciences - Education at Oregon State University. I do research in how people learn in informal education settings. I have worked as an external evaluator on a project with the Exploratorium and I have worked closely with the Oregon Coast Aquatic and Marine Science Partnership (OCAMP). Research for my doctorate will use narratives to determine conservation beliefs and values held by zoo & aquarium volunteers.
