Hi! I am 24 and a long-time resident of Maryland. I grew up in Ellicott City, attended Centennial High School, and later attended University of Maryland, College Park. I studied English, and landed a job at a trade publication as a journalist straight out of college. I wrote mainly about association news, covering their meetings and events. It wasn't before long that I had a desire to work on the "other side of the fence" at an association, so I applied and landed a position at the US Psychiatric Rehabilitation Association as a marketing coordinator, where I could still put my writing to good use. I love my job with all my heart, but with the nature of the economy- I wanted to have a career to fall back on in case nonprofits went under. I decided to get my real estate license and work as a Realtor part-time for now.
