I have two kiddos, Sofie and Jack. They are a riot and make me laugh every day! I have two dogs, Gypsy and Buster. They are very attention deprived, but are wonderful all the same! I am married to a wonderful man, who tolerates my cooking adventures! Our family moved to Texas in the Spring of 2010, prior to that we had always lived in Minnesota. It was a definite culture shock, but it has worn off and it is being absorbed! Outside of my kids, I love to scrapbook, read, watch TV, and visit with my friends. But above everything, I think what I love to do is to plan and cook meals! I love finding extravagant menus and making them appealing for the simple folks. I think it's a challenge to "dumb down" recipes so people like me can make them for regulars dinners. And I just like to try new things and add variety to my family's diet!
