Marie E. Bast is a Publishers Weekly bestselling author. Her publishing accolades also includes: 2021 finalist in the MidAmerica Romance Authors, Crown Jewel of Books contest for The Amish Baker’s Rival; finalist in the 2020 Book Buyers Best Contest for The Amish Baker; and a 2015 first place winner in the category of contemporary in the Ignite the Flame Contest for The Perfect Client. Her stories whisper words of hope, healing and finding love through complex characters and twisting plots. She has contributed to several compilations of short stories, devotionals, anthologies, and poetry to include Chicken Soup for the Soul. Her work has appeared in magazines, newspaper, pamphlets and blogs. When not writing Amish, historical or contemporary, she’s walking, golfing, gardening, or spending time with her family. She loves to bake and enjoys making homemade rolls and bread. She holds a B.A., an M.B.A., and an M.A. in Theology, and belongs to the following professional organizations: Romance Writers of America and a chapter member of Kiss of Death, Murder One; American Christian Fiction Writers; SCBWI, WFWA and Historical Novel Society.
