Marsha Bentley Hale is known for her work as a mannequin historian. Formerly an archivist in the film industry, her PhD dissertation focuses on the "Mythology of Love in Film." Hale did undergraduate studies at UCSC and UCLA before receiving a BFA in Film/Video Live Action at Cal Arts. Hale received her MA and PhD in Mythological Studies with an Emphasis in Depth Psychology from Pacifica Graduate Institute.
