I write--fiction primarily, with the occasional foray into nonfiction. I worked as editor of a local newspaper for over five years, and have had many articles published in local papers. I have studied under Editor Tom Jenks, and also author Karen Joy Fowler. I have been finalist in two Glimmer Train contests. For a decade, before throwing my life into this literary blender, I was singer/songwriter for the band Cape Cod Blue Jag; I recent completed a novel derived from my involvement in a band and the 1990s Cape Cod music scene (think: indie), which I hope to be the first novel in a trilogy. When I am not writing, I am reading. Or creating art and/or music (noise).
