Màiri Campbell

I was born in Wichita, Kansas, the youngest of four children and the only female. I have always been a voracious reader if you ask who my favorite author is I will stumble on who to list first. I wrote my first poem at age 10 for a competition for the local bookmobile. It was one of those chosen and published in the bookmobiles newsletter, and I was hooked. I've had a few other poems published over the years but have started getting into writing short stories and novels. Currently I'm is working on two different novels and a few more short stories. My first published story on Amazon is titled 'Life Begins Anew'. I married to my best friend, love dogs, wolves, Scotland and anything Celtic. I"m currently the Vice President and League Historian for the Skagit Valley Writers League. I am also a active member of the local community with the Celtic Arts Foundation. My husband, Robert, and I are the state commissioners for his Scottish clan and we are at almost every Scottish Highland Games event in WA.
