Born and bred Londoner taught to knit by her grandmother with orange wool in the 60′s. Had a break but now knitting full on, hubbie thinks he’s a knitting widower!! Retired from being a Head teacher, more time to knit now. Likes variety in projects is currently into socks and shawls. Loves unusual yarn and regular trips to USA to see daughter and grandson means stash gets larger each time! Belongs to two knitting groups, one meeting weekly the other 4 weekly. Loves Kim Hargeaves patterns but is beginning to diverge.
