I am a complete and total WP newbie trying to learn WP to keep my mind engaged as my body (not so) slowly disintegrates. I learned about computers and computing on DEC PDP-8 and PDP-11 HW, programming in Assembler, BASIC, FORTRAN and the like. New languages and systems sound like noises I might hear in a porn vid, e.g. PHP, C+, C++, Python, F+, Crystal, etc. Please keep this in mind when offering me instructions/advice. Please use simple (English) words and concepts. I just installed Linux on another machine and the advice I get sounds like "GREP the NADS by the GRONK and FOSS to Run a train in your terminal." Say wha??? Peace, out.
